1) I asked my friend who was traveling to the US to buy me a pair of tennis shoes. He bought the most expensive one, now I don't have enough money to pay him. 2) I lent my cousin my new Ipod for the weekend. She decided to study engineering, tough. 8) Molly invited some relatives over for dinner, but as her apartment is not big enough for everybody, she didn't invite her cousin Terry. Terry got really upset about it. 9) Paul went to a concert last night and had a lot of fun. He got home at 4A.M. He got to work late and made up a terrible excuse. 12) Linda borrowed some money to buy herself some make up and jewelry. She's going to pay a lot of interest. 13) Melina works at two different jobs from Monday to Saturday. She just got a third job as a cook at a restaurant near her house on Sundays. 14) Sam was fined for overspeeding because he was late for a meeting. He got late anyway and got a hard time from his boss.
