A source of humour and action in the play. Hot-headed and quick tempered., Nurse - A vulgar, long-winded, and sentimental character, they provide comic relief with frequently inappropriate remarks and speeches. A mother-figure at the beginning but eventually betrays the person she cares for most., Benvolio - Their role is the peace-keeper. They are mild-mannered and their intentions are well.
