Director of Nursing – Private Hospital. Member calls as she feels that the staffing on some of her wards is unsafe. She is the most senior nurse in the organisation but feels her clinical opinion is being ignored as the director for HR and Finance say that this is not required and they are not going to agree to any changes to the staffing establishment. - 1 - C to I, and 2, A to D, Manager - Care Home. Member calls saying he has to explain the staffing level that has been set for his home to commissioners and families. He feels the staffing is probably about right but doesn’t know how to explain this. He wants to know is there any guidance on this?
