Anything that restricts the size of the population., Predator - An animal that hunts other animals for food., Overpopulation - When the population size is too large and goes beyond the carrying capacity., Population - All individuals of the same species in a specific area., Community - All of the living things in a specific area. Populations of different species interacting., Ecosystem - Interactions between living and non-living components (parts) in an area., Competition - When organisms struggle or compete for the same resources in an area. For example: food, water, shelter., Prey - An organism that gets hunted., Population Density - The size of a population compared to the amount of space available., Biotic Potential - The potential growth of a population if it could grow in perfect conditions with no limiting factors., Trophic Cascade - Changes in an ecosystem due to the addition or removal of a top predator., Keystone Species - A species on which other species in an ecosystem largely depend, such that if it were removed the ecosystem would change drastically., Apex Predator - A predator at the top of a food chain. No other creatures prey upon it.,
