Family members should not be used to translate in personal or sensitive discussion – why?, British Sign Language - This is a fully recognised official language. It is often the language of choice for many people who experience severe hearing impairment or who are deaf. It is entirely visual as signs are made by the hands only. It requires skill and practise.,
