מִי - Anyone, שֶׁהָיָה עֶבֶד - that had a slave, אוֹ אִשָּׁה אוֹ קָטָן - or woman or a child, מַקְרִין אוֹתוֹ - reading for him, עוֹנֶה אַחֲרֵיהֶן - he answers after them, מַה שֶּׁהֵן אוֹמְרִין - whatever they are saying, וּתְהִי לוֹ מְאֵרָה - and it should be a curse for him, אִם הָיָה גָדוֹל - if an adult was, עוֹנֶה אַחֲרָיו - he answers after him,
