Austin's colony., Green DeWitt - An empresario who was allowed to bring 400 colonists to settle at Gonzales on the Guadalupe River. He is considered the second most influential empresario after Stephen F. Austin., Colonization Law of 1825 - This law promoted colonization and immigration to Texas.
