Long graduation - For this cut the hair is elevated to a 180 degree angle to ensure all the weight is kept and the back and length not removed. Start at the top fron section or crown and create a vertical guidline holding 90 degrees then increasing 180, then create verical segments around the head using the middle vertical section as a guidleine.  , One length - After sectioning hair across the head from the middle part of the head approximately 1 inch from the nape. Stand your client allowing the hair to fall in its natural position. It is important to create weight in this first section as it is your outline and guide for the rest of the cut. Position the comb as a guideline and then cut from the centre working out. , Uniform layer - The hair is cut at a 90 degree angle starting from the nape or crown and pulled out vertically and cut following the head shape. , Short graduation - This cut is started at the nape and cut at a 45 degree angle to create a shorter cut at the nape, gradually increase the angle to 90 - 120 degrees to blend in top layers, this will keep the weight and length at the top. ,
