Stand your client allowing the hair to fall in its natural position. It is important to create weight in this first section as it is your outline and guide for the rest of the cut. Position the comb as a guideline and then cut from the centre working out. , Uniform layer - The hair is cut at a 90 degree angle starting from the nape or crown and pulled out vertically and cut following the head shape. , Short graduation - This cut is started at the nape and cut at a 45 degree angle to create a shorter cut at the nape, gradually increase the angle to 90 - 120 degrees to blend in top layers, this will keep the weight and length at the top. ,
