The trees grow tall and have multiple layers. The top layer is called the canopy., Temperate Forest - Temperate forests are characterized as regions with high levels of precipitation, humidity, and a variety of deciduous and coniferous trees., Mountain - Mountain ecosystem is a complex habitat. The lower slopes are usually covered with forests. Higher up, the vegetation becomes less, and on extreme tips, the vegetation becomes almost zero., Freshwater - Freshwater is defined as having a low salt concentration (usually -1%). There are different types of freshwater regions such as ponds, lakes, streams, rivers, and wetands.,
