הָעוֹשֶׂה סֻכָּתוֹ - One who makes his sukkah, בֵּין הָאִילָנוֹת - between the trees, וְהָאִילָנוֹת דְּפָנוֹת לָהּ - and the trees are the walls of it, שְׁלוּחֵי מִצְוָה - Those sent to do a mitzvah, פְּטוּרִין מִן הַסֻּכָּה - are free from the mitzvah of sukkah, חוֹלִין - Sick people, וּמְשַׁמְּשֵׁיהֶן - and those who serve them, אוֹכְלִין וְשׁוֹתִין - We may eat and drink, עֲרַאי - in a temporary way, חוּץ לַסֻּכָּה - outside the sukkah,
