Many Natives died in battle. , At the battle of Palo Duro Canyon, Natives were trapped and forced to escape on foot. All belongings, teepees, horses, and mules were killed/destroyed. - Chief Quannah surrendered, which ended the war. All natives moved to Indian Territory. Plains Indians set up schools. ,
