Counterclaim: Some people have service dogs for an invisible disabilty and they aren't required to disclose that they have a disability. a) It's true that some dogs help people with invisible disabilities, such as panic attacks or diabetes.  b) However, dogs might poop on the floor, making the restaurant unsanitary. c) However, service dogs can wear service vests so the employees know those dogs are allowed.  d) Once at a restaurant I saw a dog bite a child, so they are clearly dangerous. e) Service dogs have a long history of importance because they help their owners stay safe and well. f) Whether or not to allow dogs in restaurants is clearly a messy issue. 5) Claim: Recreational marijuana should be decriminalized. Counterclaim: Many fear that drug abuse and addiction rates would increase. a) It is wise to consider all elements, and some marijuana users do become addicts. b) Teenagers in particular are susceptible to marijuana abuse. c) Marijuana is technically a hallucinogen.  d) Lots of studies have been done about this. However, marijuana helps too many people for it to be illegal. e) This is a valid concern. However, states that have decriminalized marijuana have actually seen drug abuse and addiction rates decrease.  f) Some people who weren't addicts have done years in prison for a small amount of marijuana.
